Job Title: National Sales Director - Solution for Oil & Gas industry

Reports To: Sales Director of Asia Region
Location: Shanghai

Job Purpose:
Responsible for meeting sales targets for all solution and Engineered Products within the assigned geography. Manage the “in country” sales efforts in the Industrial Market field. Establish strong partnerships with key end users, engineering companies as well as consulting companies. Collaborate with other entities to find and qualify new prospect especially in Chemicals and Petrochemical industries.

End user, Engineering Contractor, Design Institute
Responsibilities:
To lead the local sales team and client interaction by sales management skills through:
The identification and prioritization of key clients
Manage the Sales Team to set their goals and focus for Business in China. Support and lead the Sales Disciplined Process by managing the Sales Funnel through TTC SalesNet Funnel Management Tools. Work closely with Sales on qualifying and close key opportunities.
Establishing and monitoring national Sales target and sales call activity.
Identification of sales and business development opportunities on a national basis.
Strong leadership and negotiating skills necessary to secure contracts on large project opportunities.
Strong account management and time management ability and implement into daily sales activities for the team.
Identify large project opportunities where Thermal Controls can provide complete Heat Management System services, preferably with expanding the services content. ( Design, Engineering, Installation and Supervision )
Develop the strategy to capture the complete scope of Heat Management Systems, adopting a project specific approach for each individual opportunity.
Overseeing a project-specific ‘Proposal’ for each HMS opportunity as drafted and prepared by the Proposals support team.
Provide ‘bid-strategy’ support on identified project opportunities.
Research competitive activity with respect to changes in products, services, pricing or marketing strategies by the competitors within the region.
Qualifications & Experience
University Degree in technical discipline with Professional Engineering or equivalent certification
Solid 10+ years experience in Sales function with 5 years above people management experience
Possess a detailed, in depth knowledge of the Industrial Marketplace including Refinery, Petrochemical, Chemical Processing and Pipelines/Storage application
Requires strong, well established relationships at senior, influential levels within ‘Key End Users’ and ‘Key Engineering Contractors’ nationally within China
Requires working knowledge of electrical engineering and process engineering
Requires working knowledge of engineering design and construction process within the Petrochemical/Chemical and refinery industry
Possess a reasonable knowledge of process and mechanical systems within the target industries
Possess working knowledge of project and construction management, safety management and contract management
Strong negotiation skills, adapt at and clearly understanding the ‘Selling Cycle’ and ‘Strategic Selling at Senior Levels’, with a proven track record of achievement on major projects
Strong presentation, oral and written communication skills with both fluent in English
